Under Mary’s Mantel (Carmelites) Monastery of our Mother of Mercy Alexandria, South Dakota |

6’ wide x 3’ high This painting was a gift given to the Discalced Carmelite Nuns that came to start the Mother of Mercy Carmelite monastery in Alexandria, South Dakota. It was commissioned by the dioceses through Fr. Robert Fox. It symbolizes how the Carmelites are protected by Mary, Jesus, Angels and the Holy Spirit. This was painted on canvas in my studio. I then built a custom gold-leaf frame for the painting. |
